MMMMMMM I'm sitting here sipping on my Foldger's and it is so good this a.m. Ya gotta love that 1st cup-o-joe! Can you believe I slept late? 7:30!!! MAN O MAN!! It felt great too. Although I didn't go to bed until midnight. Torey and Allison both had friends over last night. The new home has been broken in! Full of teens! We had a blast though. I love these kids and don't mind them being here. Never once did I have to scold any of them. I did do a "LITTLE" shopping yesterday. Funds were tight cause of the move, but I got some GREAT buys! I went to HHGregg and got a $5.00 cordless phone as lightening had hit ours. I then went to Kohl's (man I love that store) and bought Torey and Allison a couple of outfits a piece and got Allison a cute little "Princess" charm bracelt. Can you believe I spent less than $50.00 all day?? You GOTTA love that! Kohl's had some REALLY great buys!! I enjoyed just some "me" time! You really gotta LOVE THAT! This Thanksgiving was very different for us w/o Joie but God has so richly us. We have you guys, Joie's family, my family, and our church family. I don't know what I would do w/o each and every one of you! We love you all! I pray that you are blessed and overtaken by God's goodness! What cha got planned for today? Me? I have a couple of boxes in my bedroom that need to be gone through and put away, then I plan on cutting my yard (thank God for my riding mower cause this yard is HUGE)! Other than that, I'm going to CHILL today!! I hope you have a wonderful Saturday! Enjoy your day people! It's the WEEKEND! WOO HOO!! Randall, Torey, and Allison

Sounds like alot of fun having the kids in the house. My boys would like to have a few friends over tonight and the husband is have a few over too. I will be outranked and will have to retreat to my bedroom, too much testosterone for me! Today I am on call from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. So my day could go in many directions. Definitely a spontaneous day for me. If I don't get a call, I have some leaves calling my name, windows badly needing washed and some wallpaper border that needs to be hung in the bathroom. Now as I think of this list......it might not be so bad to be on call now? Yesterday was a whirlwind of a day. Taking care of my patients, of which one is declining quickly. Please hold him up in prayer if you would. He is on hospice but I so do not want to see him suffer. The family is in a haze at this point. Pray that the Lord will give me the insight to help all of them as this time comes. I hope that each of you have a great Saturday. Be safe if you are planning on putting up your Christmas lights on the house. In his name, Di

Well, I guess it is now afternoon. My awesome cup of coffe was spent finishing up the Christmas decorations. We put everything up yesterday since it was actually nice here and the temps have already dropped today with a high on Monday of 18. I really need to look into moving to a warmer climate. Thanksgiving was a nice uneventful day which is great. I have been a little sad this holiday just because with my kids grown I am missing them when they are not around. Our son went to Dallas for the Thanksgiving game, he has such an awesome time, but I do miss him when he is not around. He is in college about 60 miles from us, but does not come home alot anymore and has decided to just live there from now on and not come back for breaks and the summers. Our daughter is a Senior in highschool and has a new boyfriend who also lives in the same town as our son, so between her school, work, and driving to see him. She isn't around very much either. I have a hard time staying up at night, so by the time she gets home at 10:00pm (her curfew), it is about time for me to hit the sack so I can get up to go to work in the mornings. I miss my kids. The holidays will not be the same without them around all the time. We use to go out and cut our own Christmas trees in the hills every year and looked forward to it, but they aren't into that anymore, so my husband and I just don't feel it is the same with just us going, so we just put up our artificial tree. I did say yesterday while decorating that at least we can look forward to starting the tradition over again with our grandkids when we are finally blessed with them. I pray eveyone's weekend is blessed and the following weeks as we wait to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. In His Grip~ Maryann

Hi Randall, Sorry this is so late. I just got home from a day in New York City. My younger son, his girlfriend and I went up with plans to see my other son's fiancee perform in a play that she is understudying for, but at the last minute we learned she was not to perform. We had a great day, and my feet are killing me. We walked through Central Park, went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, did Times Square and the insane Toys R Us there, then we walked to Rockafeller Center and watched ice skaters while I drank a diet iced tea. Then we walked to St. Patrick's Cathedral, and then down 5th Avenue window shopping in all the expensive department stores. Then we went to the Apple store and then caught a cab back to the train station. I must have walked 50 blocks today. We only took a cab twice. I have my 3 month check-up on Monday, so I have a feeling I am making my goal weight for that given all the walking I did today. My Thanksgiving was blessed. My whole family missed having my brother there, but we give thanks that he is with the Lord at this time. We also missed having my daughter and son-in-law with us as originally planned, but are also grateful that she and the baby are safe and healthy at this point in her pregnancy. On the train ride home, I had a chance to share a little of my faith with my son's girlfriend, she was raised Catholic, and didn't know much about our faith or practices. She seemed interested in what I was sharing with her. Pray for her to desire a close relationship with our Lord. Right now, neither she nor my son practice any faith, which breaks my heart. Sorry to babble. I have a lot of nervous energy right now. Hugs, trish
