EXCITED AND OVERWHELMED!!!
Well everybody,
Hubby is finally coming home this Saturday! He has been gone since the beginning of May! We are all excited, but there is LOTS to do! We have the holidays coming...and we are also under new orders to move in January! We are moving to the Charleston, SC area. I am trying to get as much packed as I can before hubby gets home. I really don't want to have to do much. We are also going on vacation when he gets home. Hopefully, we will also be blessed with another baby. I have taken fertility medicine...and hopefully...if it is God's will...we will have another. So...between all of these things...and homeschooling...I am kind of nuts right now. Please keep us in prayer as we go through all of this over the next couple of months. It is always an adjustment after a deployment...and then having all of this to do...Thank goodness God has my back!
I may be in and out for a while due to all of this stuff. Please know that I love you guys and appreciate your friendship.
Love,
Stephanie
Stephanie,
first and foremost please tell your husband thank you for what he is doing! Sounds like you have a few months in front of you that will be very hectic, will pray for you and the family! I pray the Lord blesses you with another healthy baby, what a blessing they are! I too, am waiting on a new grandchild, due in June.
Stephanie - oh that is good news!!! I'm so glad! Thanks to your husband for serving us as he is, and thanks to you for your sacrifices so that he can do what he is doing. I pray that your reunion will be so sweet! I pray that the Lord will bless you with another baby!!! May His mighty hand be upon you and your family through this time!!!
Praise God!
~Carolyn
Thanks Carolyn!
You picked up on something a lot of people don't understand...yes..it is a sacrifice for the whole family...not just the one who actively serves. Thanks for recognizing that.
We are going to have an awesome time the next few weeks! We are taking the kids to an indoor waterpark the first couple of days. They have NO CLUE...and will be super excited. Then...we will drop them off with their dad...and go to Charleston for a few days...see if they have started building our house...LOL...and then...someone has given us a week at an ocean front condo on Emerald Isle....and we will be there with no kids! Kind of like a second honeymoon...except it is much colder than Jamaica this time of year...LOL. Going to have a nice...relaxing time together...
Love,
Stephanie
Hey Trish!
Wow...you were lucky to never have gone through months of deployment! Hopefully...this will be his last deployment. We have one rotation of shore duty left...which will be in Charleston...then he will have about a year before he can retire. We are hoping to talk them into letting him finish that last year in Charleston...but you know how it goes...they do what they want to. I really don't want to go through this again. Being without him when the baby died was really tough. So...we are looking forward to some time together...to put pieces together...talk about everything...and just relax!
Love,
Stephanie

Keep yourself busy and most of all in the Word! You can hold the candlestick for him and thankful for his dedication of helping to keep our USA a free nation to READ GODS WORD, PRAISE OUR GOD OPENLY AND fight for US FREEDOM<
