question re: weight loss
Hello all. I was checking my day planner where I enter my daily weight and for the month I lost 9lbs. Is that about right for someone six months out? I was afraid it was less than that because of my stall.
I used to lose between 12 and 16 lbs but I suppose it is normal to slow down after the first 100 are gone. Any advice or suggestions?

Also, if anyone is reading this from SC, the support group for Riverside Surgical at Lexington Medical Center is tonight at 6pm.
Wow Joan! You're doing so well!!! My doc said that at 6 months this slows down a lot! My weight loss has been (I'm a super slow loser!!!):
1st month - 20 lbs
2nd month - 13 lbs
3rd month - 11 lbs
4th month - 7 lbs
5th month - 8 lbs
6th month - 7 lbs
To answer your question - once you're within 120 - 100 lbs of goal your body really slows down the losses. There's a forum here for "lightweights" people who have less than 120 lbs to lose cuz we lose so much slower. You might want to check that out if you need encouragement - but from me to you - you're doing fantastic!!!
