Prayers for those in surgery today

Lord, you have given us the gifts of technology, knowledge and modern medicine. We thank you for the gift of our surgeries, those past and those to come. We plead Lord, that you may keep these people in your hands this day and everyday, but especially today as they face their surgeries. Be with them in there apprehension. Be with their loved ones as they wait. Give them all a sense of peace and certainty and carry them through the next few weeks of uncertainty. Guide their surgeon's hands and give their medical staff compassion. Notedone .
