Mom

Hi Everyone, My mom is really agitated these days. Today she told me that she was upset because the minister referenced Ephesians 2:8-9 in Neil's funeral on Thursday. He said it is not by our works, but by faith, that we are assured of eternity with Jesus. Neil believed that. Mom was upset because she does not believe that, and there may have been others who don't believe that. She did not want to offend anyone at his funeral. Neil had a lot of Catholic friends. My daughter said it should not matter, because Neil believed scripture where salvation is concerned, including that verse. Now, I am upset. Hugs, Trish

I am praying for you and your family. This time of grief is very hard on everyone and sometimes families distract themselves from the grief with other issues. Sometimes we would rather be mad than sad. Try to be patient with each other and remember there is a time for every season under heaven. Hugs, Sandyd
