Thanks Sandy! I missed this weekends posts - hubby and I were away at a couples retreat with our church in Lake Tahoe. I was studying this verse Saturday morning - before the sun was up - and thinking that the words of my mouth are getting better - not too much "foot in mouth" as before, but the meditations of my heart can still be world centered - rather than Christ centered. But, God has promised that He will continue the work in each of us, until the day of Christ Jesus! Praise the Lord - I need Him!!! Have a great day! I'm off to jury duty - oy! ~Carolyn

Oh......Lake Tahoe. It is so beautiful there and it has been about 25 years since I was there. Oh, the tongue who can control it......everyday I work on that one but I know it will be a battle to the end. God is not done with me yet. Welcome back. Hugs, Sandyd

I have never been to Tahoe, but my daughter has. She spent a summer there with Campus Crusade for Christ doing missons work. She loved it. She was born in Monterey, California in 1976, but we only lived there till she was 6 months old. Someday she would like to go back. Hugs, Trish

My words are too often not pleasing to the Lord. I also tend to think too much about me and not enough about Him. Thanks for the reminder. Hugs, Trish

It is so easy for me to get caught up in the cares of the world and all the stress that goes with it. The word of God grounds me and keeps me thinking right because i have the mind of an addict. Hugs, Sandyd

As a young person growing up and involved with a youth Bible study....we used this verse to close every meeting. Thanks for refreshing my memory of this special verse. luvitsunnyv
