My brother's mother-in-law just recently found out she has leukemia. They were all at Disney World on vacation and the day they were to get on the bus to go to the airport Mrs. Walker just couldn't make it to the bus. So they called 911 and had her taken to the hospital where she was found to have leukemia. They were told that the type of leukemia she has people don't usually live over two years. She is still in Kissimmee, FL and was supposed to be moved to a different hospital in Orlando that is better equipped. They are all from Texas but they have been told that it could be a month before Mrs. Walker can be med flighted back to Texas. They are going to start her on chemotherapy and she will be put in isolation because of the compromised immune system. Please keep Betsy Walker and her entire family in your prayers. My sister-in-law is the oldest and she is only 23 or 24 years old, so Mrs. Walker is not that old. She has just recently in the last two years become a grandmother (Laura's sister has a child and one on the way). John, my brother, has to get back to Texas to work but Billy, Laura's dad, Laura and Cara are all staying there. My mom has a condo that she has booked for them for two weeks. That is all the time she had but that will help them some. Just please keep this family in your prayers. I cannot even imagine what they must be going through right now. Thanks, Shel

Father God, I lift up Betsy Walker to you Lord and ask for your mercy Lord. Please do what You are so wonderful at, the impossible. Help this family and provide in ways that they would never dream, just as Ephesians 3:20 says. Help Shel E's brother and his wife and Your will be done Father. In Jesus' Most Precious Name, Amen Joan M

Shel, I will be praying for Mrs. Walker. Ironically, my former mother-in-law, also Mrs. Walker, had a brain aneurysm while on the Gulf Coast of Florida, and had to have emergency brain surgery back in 1996. So, I will be able to remember her name when I pray. Hugs, Trish

I'll be praying for Mrs. Walker and her family. It must be really tough to be away from home with all of this, for the family. God is with them. Hugs, Robin
