Praise God! May His purpose always prevail in my life! I really needed this verse today! We are trying to sell a car so that we can go to Israel in March, and I'm getting really frustrated with the process - but His will will prevail - so, if it's not His will for us to go, then that car can sit there till kingdom come! Wow, that would be an exciting trip. I would love to go to Israel. I know what you mean it is sometimes waiting for our prayers to be answered and knowing that sometime the answer is no or not now instead of the yes we want.
