Please pray for me

I am returning to work on Thursday and I have a lot of anxiety about it. I am a teacher, and missed the start of the school year because of the timing of my surgery. I had Open RNY, so my recuperation was a little longer. Last year, I was written up twice for poor classroom management. I have been teaching for twenty years and I had a really bad year last year with the kids at a new school. I am currently on a waiting list for a Social Work position with my school district, so I do have something to look forward to in terms of getting out of the classroom. I am just anxious about getting criticism from my assistant principal like I did last year. I worked at a psychiatric hospital all summer and never got criticism the way I got it last year. Unfortunately, I need the income of my teacher's salary, and can't afford to work at the hospital full time. Please pray because this really has me upset. I was grazing over it a few days ago. I don't want to gain weight, or not lose. Hugs, Trish

Hey Trish! I will be praying for you! You know that God has your back!!!! I know it is hard...but try to remember that you are really working for God...not for the people that keep giving you a hard time. Do your best for God...that is all he wants! I have faith in you...and the more you start to lose the better you are going to feel! It really affects all parts of your life! Keep me posted on how things go. Remember the surgery is just a tool. It does not change our mindset of wanting to eat. We have to find our strength and trust in God for that. It is a process that takes place over time. Don't beat yourself up over a little bit of grazing. All of us have done it. The choice is now...do you want to go back to the way things were...or are you gonna stomp on Satan's head? Stephanie, I could just cry in joy for your encouraging words. Thank you so much. You have just blessed me so much. I was able to go to a Women's Bible study this evening and share my concerns with another teacher, who works in a large Christian school near mine. She is praying as well. I was blessed by the study we did, as we are beginning a study of Ruth, and the teacher just emphasized that God is always with us in the good, but especially in the bad stuff.
