Church

I just want to talk about my church for a little bit. We are going through a transition between pastors. Our Senior Pastor resigned in June, and we had been waiting to do a pastoral search because we are in the middle of revising our constitution. In the meantime, the leadership felt led to call our Associate Pastor as a candidate for Senior Pastor. He has preached the past two weeks and will be answering questions this evening. Next week we vote. In the meantime, the Children's ministry has lost a lot of helpers and is in need of a lot of prayer. People are just not stepping forward to help with the kids. The result is that the children must sit with their parents in the service the whole hour. I go to an independent evangelical church that used to call itself Baptist, but dropped the Baptist name and now is just called Langhorne Terrace Ministries. What needs does your church have that we could pray for? Let's all pray for our different churches at this time. Hugs, Trish
