Good Friday morning everyone! It's Friday, it's Friday, happy happy Friday! Time to rise and shine! A new day is here! Our challenge today is to not be a person of pride. Now I'm not talking about not having a healthy pride. Healthy pride is good. I'm talking about self pride in that you are better than other's. Pride in that "you" are "it". Pride goes before a fall and also before destruction. Don't allow PRIDE to destroy you but rather be a person of humility. SO! Who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm sipping on my Maxwell House regular and getting awakend ready to hit the door running. I hope you have a wonderful, blessed, and HUMBLE day! Randall

Good Morning Randall, Pride is a good topic for today. I am always trying to give God the glory for my accomplishments, but must confess, I like the attention and praise I get when I do something and people notice. I am sipping on nothing yet. Have to wait for a little while because I just finished my breakfast. When I do, I am going to get my diet decaf iced tea going. Have a great day. Hugs, Trish

I think the kind of false pride I have at times could be discribed as prideful. I looked up some other words that woul discribe prideful to help me understand how it gets in my way. Overly convinced of one's own superiority and importance: arrogant, haughty, high-and-mighty, insolent, lofty, lordly, overbearing, overweening, proud, supercilious, superior. Idiom: on one's high horse. Dear God please save me from being prideful. Thanks, Randall!! You have a marvelous weekend. Hugs, Sandyd
