I'm new here, but could use some prayer!

God is good, isn't He? Well, I usually post at either the lightweight or California board, cause I didn't see this one until tonight, so I have to believe it's Him directing me here. The only thing between my me and my surgery is a weight loss of 20 lbs. I'm praying that He will give me the strength and control to lose these 20 lbs. as quickly as He sees fit. Please pray that for me as well, I just need to drop 20 lbs. ASAP! Thank you and God bless! Tami

Hi Tami, I will be praying for you to lose that 20 pounds. I won't give any advice, just loving support from a Christian sister. I am usually on the Pennsylvania board, the Addictions board, or the August 2006 board, but this is one of my favorite boards as well. Hugs, Trish

Tami, I'll be praying for you. God is good! He promises that we "can do all things through Christ who strengthens" us. Also, All things work together for good to those who are called according to His purpose. The word good there means that which is beneficial or that which adds beauty and value to something.
