Verse of the day

You know, I was a Christian for a very long time before that verse jumped out at me and hit me between the eyes. I had gone on my merry way, doing my own thing with certain sins, claiming to love the Lord. This verse challenged me to really confess and repent of a certain sin that was weighing me down terribly. In 1 Peter 2:2 it says Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. We all grow as Christians and give up what we become aware of on the way. The word of God is powerful and will change you if you let it. When I look back on the person I used to be I fall down on my knees in gratitude to God that I am a new person. Not by my own will but by God's will. I love posting God's word everyday and hope and pray someone will be as touched by it as I am. Thanks for being here. Hugs, Sandyd
