New pic on profile and new weight loss

Good morning everyone....just to let those know who may be interested. I have a new pic on my profile and I weighed in this morning and weigh 216! That is 74lbs since surgery on April 25, 06. The Lord is good. I am still doing my protein supplements and getting in between 60 and 75 grams a day! True victory for me. I do have prayer request...I hurt my shoulder a few weeks back when I fell on my porch and have to have MRI tomorrow after xrays last week revealed a gap in the shoulder and arm bone. They say I may have a torn rotator cuff. Please pray for me. I did get prayer for healing and am waiting for the Lord's hand upon this situation. For those waiting for surgery....don't give up. This is the best thing I have done for my weight problem. In Christ Who is Able, Joan M

Great pic Joan!!! It's so nice to see someone whose daughter is taller than she is!!! - that's me too! I'm only 5'0 and my daughter is 5'3". I'm hoping to take a pic with her on Saturday which will be my 4 mos surgery anniversary. I had mine the day after you had yours. I haven't lost as quickly as you have - 49 lbs as of today, but I'm still happy with the process. I'm down a total of 79 lbs and that's great. Carolyn...you are doing great and I know we are giving the Lord the glory for this miracle in our lives. You encourage me and so many other people I can't tell you how you are appreciated. I think the fast weight loss is due to the amount of weight I started with. You were much smaller than I was. Almost 300 at 5'1" is a lot for my little body to carry. We will all do well as we trust in the Lord and obey. In His love, Joan M

Robin, thanks for praying for my shoulder. I really need prayer also for help with my beautiful daughter who can't stay home alone (I say so) while I go for the MRI...I suppose I have to take her..she is sick and I can't leave with anyone. In His love, JoanM
