Wednesday coffee talk
Good Wednesday morning everyone. Time to get up and at 'em. It's going to be a wonderful day.
Our challenge today is to not just go through the motions, but to operate in YOUR fullness and take advantage of your life 100%. Don't get stuck doing the same thing over and over again getting in a rut. Don't just go to church because you feel the need to do so. Don't just say that I am a christian because it is my obligation! Live it to the fullest! Move to a new level that will take you higher in your walk with God than you have ever been before! God desires to take you higher, give you wisdom and give you HIS knowledge. Don't be afraid to learn get in the WORD. It's the WORD (Bible) that will take you farther than you are now!
So! Who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm having my "toasted almond" coffee this morning and man is this stuff good!
I hope you have a great, wonderful, and blessed, day. Randall
Hi Randall & good morning...
I just finished my decaf with mocha - yum.
Thanks for your challenge. This really hits me in the work arena. I've very much just been going through the motions. It's a difficult time for this company, and it seems that the owner doesn't really give it his all to make it work, and that attitude filters down to the rest of us, BUT... I can give it my all. I can also pray to the Lord to see if this is still where I am supposed to be. Hmmm. Thanks Randall.
My husband and I are studying the bible together for the first time (1st time together). We're in Luke. You know the story of Mary, as she comes and breaks open her alabaster box, and annoints the Lord with it's oils and with her tears? That alabaster box was most likely her dowry... the only thing she had to secure a husband, and she broke it open for the Lord. She didn't spill out a few drops, she broke it open - Just as Jesus broke Himself open to secure us!!! It's one of my favorite stories in the bible...!
Praise be to God who rules on high!!!

Being our fullest? This is an inspirational essay that is often attributed to Nelson Mandela, but in actuality is from Marianne Williamson.
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
Be your best for God.
Hugs,
Trish
