Friday coffee talk
Good Friday morning everyone! It's Friday, it's Friday, it's finally Friday! WOO HOO!! The weekend is here! Big plans? I'm getting ready for the HUGE Yard Sale in the morning. At least it's in the Family Life Center at the Church so I won't be in the heat!
Our challenge today is to turn your impossibility into possibility. What you think is impossible, is POSSIBLE! If you are determined enough, you can make it happen. Make up your mind that you will not be defeated. That what ever you are seeing as impossible is actually NOT an impossibility! You can do anything you set your mind to! I have confidence in you!
So, who's up? What cha sipping on this morning? I'm sipping on Chocolate Biscotti flavored coffee this morning. I thought it would have a "strong" chocolate taste but it doesn't. More like a biscotti taste and a "hint" of chocolate in it. Man! It's good! How about you?
I hope you have a great, wonderful, and POSSIBLE day! Randall
Good morning!
Randall, our pastor always says that our impossibilities are God's opportunities. He takes our cir****tances and life issues that are impossible and shows His power, love and ability to meet our needs and take care of us. I love the Lord so much. He is so good to us.
I am working on some water this AM. I didn't get my protein shake in. I made a yummy one today, really creamy and then left it on the bench by the front door! I am eating some ham & cheese and fruit instead. But that doesn't help me with my protein today, although it's tasty.
Y'all have a wonderful day! It's Friday!!!! WooHoo!!!
Hugs, Robin
Your challenge brings to mind a scripture that I often think on when I am feeling discouraged.
Matthew 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
Oh, a garage sale!!!! I love garage sales. Having very eclectic tastes I furnished most of my house with items from garage sales and loved every minute of the shopping around.
Just sippin' away on my Gevalia. I am going to have to get more eclectic with my coffee sippin'
Have a great day Randall!!!
Hugs, Sandyd
Thanks Randall! I hope you're feeling better! That heat alone will get you. We've been having really mild temps this week - barely in the 80's. Funny, but I'm actually wearing a sweater today!
I was talking about the POSSIBILITIES with our pastors wife this week. She just ran the San Francisco marathon - yes - 26 miles - in under 4 hours. I told her I could never do something like that - and she looked at me and said - how can you say that - look at what you've done with God so far??? She's right. No - I'm not in training, but I need to remember that with Him all things are possible!!!
'Sippin on my decaf with international mocha stuff. Love it.
Thanks for the support on the main board yesterday. I felt pretty intimidated...! But - as I posted there last night:
I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
Have a great one all! - Carolyn
Good Morning Randall,
We are having a cold front come into Pennsylvania, the high should be 90 degrees today.
I like the idea of turning impossibilities into possibiliities. Didn't the angel say to Mary, "With God all things are possible?" Also, Paul said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
I am sipping my black coffee with no sweetener. Love it.
Hugs,
Trish
