(I'm getting spoiled...) We had a lovely earthquake last night! Little rock n roll while we were at church. We were discussing how in the old testiment there are typologies of Jesus - and we're on Joseph. It was great. When Joseph reveals himself to his brothers, he does so in private - we should allow private time for the Lord to reveal Himself even deeper to us. When the brothers see Joseph they are afraid because of their sin, but Joseph says - come close to me. Then Joseph assures them that he is in Egypt not by their hands, but by the Lord, and offers forgiveness and love. Then - he tells them that the famine is not over - but has 5 more years, but that they will have provisions while they remain with him. So - we may be in a famine (living in Egypt/the World in it's darkness or otherwise), but as long as we abide in the Lord - we will have His perfect provisions! Have a great one all! - Carolyn

I am very spoiled by the Morning Coffee Talk. I hope you are okay, Randall. Carolyn, I had never thought of Joseph in that way, and I appreciate you sharing that with us. I always like Joseph because of his steadfastness in waiting on the Lord. He is my favorite Old Testament character. Peter is my favorite disciple. I relate to him in so many ways. I am always sticking my foot in my mouth with the Lord. thanks again, Hugs, Trish

SO sorry! Thanks for missing me. I'm here! Thanks for sharing this Carolyn. I'm so glad that we have God's PERFECT provision. We always think we need more, need more, need more. But in all actuality, God takes care of us giving us what we really NEED! God bless and thanks! Good thought! Randall
