Just went for my consultation today. Am beginning my journey. Very small chance that insurance will approve. (Cigna) Will God allow this in my life? He can move mountains you know. This (weight) has been a mountain in my life for 35 years. I am so tired. Will you pray for me?

Dear Diane, In getting to know the many people on these forums, I have learned that for some, like me, the journey is relatively short. I had my consultation on June 1, and my surgery is scheduled for August 28th. For others, it takes years before everything comes together for them. The key is, God's timing is perfect. I anticipated a longer journey for myself, and expected my surgery this fall or winter. I was shocked when it all fell into place as it did. I do know that God is bigger than Cigna, and can allow things to be approved as He sees fit. I also know that God loves when we come to Him in total submission to His will, and seeking only to love Him more and more, no matter what the situation. I will pray for you as you begin your journey. In the meantime, enjoy the fellowship here, as there are some terrific servants of our Lord here. Hugs, Trish
