I wanted to take a moment to thank each and everyone of you that said a prayer, sent a note of encouragement, and just thought of my family and I in these past couple of months really. As you all know, thank you do Dawn for letting everyone on the board know, my father finally had the privilege to go home to our Heavenly Father. I have to tell you that it was the hardest time of my life so far, but it was also the most beautiful. We all felt such comfort and peace as we got to see the last of his earthly body and celebrate him being reunited with Our Lord and Saviour. Looking at him finally out of pain and knowing that he will be watching over all of us has been so comforting. I know that a lot of you have lost loved ones recently and not so recently and there are those of you that are possibly going through the exact same things that we had gone through. I offer each and every one of you, my OH family, the peace and comfort in knowing where our loved ones are now. I want to be more active here on the board, sharing my faith, my journey, my ups and downs. All of you, whether you post everyday, once in awhile or lurk, as I do often, I encourage you to continue to share with all of us. Our life here on earth is short lived when you look at what our lives are going to be when we finally get to go home to Our Abba, Our Father. I would like to know you all now as well as when I see you up in that mansion on the hilltop!!! Thank you all again, you are always in my thoughts and prayers. Love always, Jeanna

Hi Jeanna! I have been away from the boards lately, I didn't realize your father had passed. I am truly sorry for your loss. You do seem to have a real God given peace. I do believe God gives the grace when we need it and not a minute before sometimes! I hope to be more active on the board also. When I get settled back in my house in June that will be easier. I miss everyone and hope some old regulars will come back! God bless you, Candy

Hi Jeanna~ You expressed your heart in words so eloquently. I too want to become more active here. It seems that the enemy always finds a way for me to be sidetracked with I want to talk with my OH Christian family. Love ya, Dawn

Jeanna, I am so glad that our Lord gave you the peace that passes alll understanding...and since you are not like those w/o hope we have a firm hope that one day those who die in Christ in the Body are now in the presence of the Lord. How can we help but have joy unspeakable even though our loss is great. I agree we need to an encouragement to one another and to share what works for us and what doesn't in case others can glean from our experience. In Him, Joan M
