Is Cancer common with WLS?

I keep hearing about cancer and in the list of questions for the surgeon, there are cancer questions. So its it pretty common to get cancer after WLS or is this a concern for WLS patents for a reason? Whats the deal?

Most cancer specialist doctors like myself would rather not see ANY cigarette caused cancers since they are so difficult to treat successfully and they could have been prevented.
