remnant stomach (the "Old Stomach")

I am post op Gastric By passs revison 2 years. I am having some issues with distended fluid fill remnant stomach . I have had a G tube in place since 2/1/2011 , My question is what are complications to this, and what function does the "old stomach" really have; and what kind of quality of life does one have if they have to remove the "old stomach". I have been on this internet for the last 3 weeks trying to research all this and it is driving me crazy.

That question was just asked at the class I went to.,  We were told the old stomach is left in you and your surgery is completley reversable because of thei.  It is off to the side still receiving a blood supply.  Just not doing anything

how is your quality of life now? what did you end up doing?
