Gallstones, Breast Cancer and Radiation, oh my!

I am a breast cancer survivor who has successfully gone through radiation a few months back. Well, I was just diagnoised with gall stones and need to take my gallbladder out. Is there a connection? What can I expect? I am disappointed with the news.
