Topic: Lisa Lutz
Has anyone read the Spellman books by Lisa Lutz? The series so far has three books. The Spellman files, The Curse of the Spellmans and Revenge of the Spellmans. They are a fun easy read. Check them out! Let me know what you think.

Topic: RE: Stephenie Meyer and the Twilight Saga
I recently became utterly obsessed with the Twilight saga. It's sad.

I've read a few Jodi Picoult books however Nora Roberts is the best. So far I caught Midnight Bayou and High Noon on Lifetime. The movies weren't great compared to the books but standing alone they did just fine. I really liked the casting choices!!!! I was psyched to see Brittany Murphy cast in the movie Tribute. I'm sad I wanted to see it this weekend but I'll be traveling for the holidays.
Topic: RE: Books on Homosexuality
My partner and I are HUGE fans of a series my Kim Harrison called "the Hallows". It is about vampires, witches, fairies, and humans all rolled into one book. It isn't out right gay material...but it does have some really good lesbian scenes. We like the genre...but we love it also because they throw homosexuality into the mix as if it is a normal thing in society (which don't get me wrong, really is). However, some books go over the top with the gay statments....this just is kind of like life....and some REALLY funny parts. Let me know if you want more information! :)

Nora Roberts is a pretty popular author, but I have never read any of her books. I am very into Jodi Picoult these days - have you read any of hers?

It's funny you should ask that, I just caught her book Northern Lights last saturday as a Lifetime Movie... Not really sure how I feel about that, because I love her as an author.. Oh well, I'll probably end up watching Midnight Bayou this weekend anyway.

Has anyone heard of this author? My sister in law just gave me a bunch of her books and told me that she was an amazing writer... No offense to my sister in law, but I need a second opinion! Lol.
Let me know if it's worth it to check any of these out, and if anyone knows a good starting off place.

Topic: RE: Starting The Red Tent by Anita Diamant
I just saw your entry today about The Red tent. I hope you enjoyed the book - I did! In fact, we have started a Red Tent Society here in Akron where women from all faiths come together. We are Christian, Jewish, Muslim and now have a member from the Bai Hi faith.
