Topic: RE: Recommend Davinci Code!!!!!!!!!!
That was a most excellant book, and believe it or not, a lot of truth woven in and around the storyline! Maybe not all those threads in one place, but there is a lot of mystery surrounding davinci and such. The church still has thousands of pages of archived documents put away from public eyes to 'keep safe'. My brother used to be an illuminator in the vatican in the 60's, and there is so much subtrefuge it bothered him enough that he transferred out. He now is the head of a school in NM. Great book though!
Topic: Recommend Davinci Code!!!!!!!!!!
Davinci Code is the best book I have EVER read, ever. I am a voracious reader so this is really saying something! I read the entire book in 9 hours. LOVED LOVED LOVED IT! It has everything you could possibly want in a good book; mystery, intrigue, scandal, religion, sex, murder, art, politics, foreign travel, romance, suspense, folklore, secret societies, and so much more! You will be instantly enthralled, lured into the complex and stunning imagery of the book. Everyone in my family has read it, my 18 year old brother, my mother, my aunts, my uncle, my step-dad, my grand-mother.
You will not be disappointed. A must read for 2004!
Topic: The proper care and feeding of husbands
This book is by Dr. Laura Schlessinger and is a must read for women everywhere! I had a hard time getting a copy, after three weeks of hitting the bookstores in town again and again and being told that they have a long waiting list for the book, I finally gave in and special ordered it (I suppose I could have ordered it from her website as well).

Right now I am really into Laurell Hamilton ... she is a sci-fi/fantasy writer with really intense erotic undertones. I love her stuff ... just discovered it!
