Dan Brown rocks!! Try Angles and Demons too. Robert Langdon is the main character again. It starts out almost the same, but it is really good too. Now, I am reading Digital Fortress, also by Dan Brown. So far, it is ok. I am onlyl a few chapters in, so we shall see.
I do have some books about the scared feminine if anybody is interestsed in buying them. I was obcessed with Mary M. for a while after reading The Da Vinci Code... Email me if you are interested...
Topic: RE: What are you reading?
I read Tami Hoag, most of her books are about lawyers and criminal cases. Also, Ann Rule (she does True Crime-VERY GOOD!), Sue Grafton, Scott Turow, Preston A Pairo III and Patricia Cornwell. For your basic murder/mystery I would suggest Robert B Parker, JA Jance, Mary Higgins Clark, Stuart Woods, and Kay Hooper. I love to read!!!
You can e-mail me if you want specific recommendations from any of these authors. I have a million books, too bad you don't live closer.

Topic: JRR Tokein's Books
Is this forum just for books about WLS? Is there a forum for movies and other forms of entertainment? Just asking.
I read most of the Hobbit books by JRR Tolkein. I did not finish the very last one because someone told me how it ended, and I could not bear to read it.

I have read Forest House and the other prequel to Mists. Yes, they were good, but I think Mists is the most widely known. I love her work. Did you see the TV movie that came out a couple of years ago? Some of my friends were disappointed that it left so much of the book out, but I think it covered the essentials, and I liked it. I taped it, and now I see it can be purchased.
I am so glad to meet you, by the way. I go by my second name Beth. I always have. I am always excited to find someone who sees beyond what we've been taught. I wonder what teeny tiny Vivienne would have thought of WLS? They probably knew all kinds of remedies for everything. I would love to go there someday and just "feel" the place. Now that I will be able to fit into a plane seat, I think I will make going to Avalon/Glastonbury one of my goals.
I really like the forums at Obesityhelp.com. I hope this one "picks up," because reading is one of my favorite pasttimes.

Has anyone else been priviledged enough to read this treasure? I think any woman *****ads it will never be the same. I experienced the same thing when I saw the "Joy Luck Club." I found both very feminine empowering.

After being addicted to Dean Koontz books for a couple of years, I desperately needed a change. My mom, niece, and I drove to Florida this past weekend, and The Da Vinci Code was on the back seat. I picked it up and could not put it down. I liked it so much, I went to Barnes and Noble and bought Dan Brown's 3 previous books. How exciting and refreshing!
And how wonderful that Obesityhelp.com has this forum message board. I love reading, and I love sharing what I read.
