Topic: RE: Any Christian Romance (Love Inspired) fans out there?
Hi Tammy!
I also love reading the Love Inspired Romances, as well as many of the other Christian romances I come across! I see that you are newly post-op, and I wish you the best. I am over two years out now, and would do this surgery again in a heartbeat! I feel that the reason my surgery and recovery was so good is that my family and I did a lot of praying and asking for the Lord's will before I had the surgery.
Best of luck to you,
Theresa

Janice,
I love to read romance. Like you I like to get a break from everyday life and just enjoy a good romance. I like reading Cathrine Anderson, Nora Roberts, Jude Deveroux, Some Intruge romances.

My mom loves Grissom too. She said James Patterson and Jonathan Kellerman are a lot like him, she likes those books just as much!
Topic: RE: MY SURGERY DAY IS COMING FAST AND I GET VERY SCARED
I had lap RNY so I don't have advise on the lap band , and I don't know that much about it . I have heard that is less invasive and that is why people go with it . THe people on the main message boards would probably know more , I know there are a lot more people who post there and lots have had the same thing as you.
I am post op and have met my goal with NO complications what so ever I have never been happier in my life ! I finally did something for me and I am never looking back ! My family had their reservations in fact my DH thought this was so dangerous and told me I was being selfish . I had to just put everyones oppinion aside and do what I felt in my heart ! Of course they are all happy for me now !
Good luck to you and let us know how you do in your journy !

Topic: RE: LOOKING FOR SUGGESTION....MYSTERY BOOKS
I just found a new series (not new, just to me ) there is 12 now and a 13th coming in January of 2005 . Kinda fun one by "Susan Wittig Albert "the first one introduces the main character of the series "China Dayles"
the first book is called "Thyme of death" the second one is Witches bane. I found them at the local library. Susan and her husband write together they also have other series , but these are the mysteries !
Happy reading !

Topic: Dan Brown
Anything by Dan Brown is a good read. I think Digital Fortress was my least fav, but it was still good. Has anyone else read Dan Brown? I have read all of his books now and I am looking for a new author to dive into. Is there anybody out there with books like Dan's? WOW. Please help me. I feel like I am missing out not having another book to look forward to. Help me please!
Topic: RE: LOOKING FOR SUGGESTION....MYSTERY BOOKS
Celines...I'm a mystery lover also...here are some of my suggestions:
James Patterson, John Grisham's NEW book "The Last Juror" (I didn't like some of his others), Catherine Coulter's FBI series ("The Edge", "Blindside", "Eleventh Hour", "The Maze", etc--read the inner flap), Ed McBain, Janet Evanovich, Ridley Pearson, Stuart Woods, some of Robert Parker's, John Sandford, a really exceptional Alex Kava--she has 3 or 4 out that are excellent, Kathy Reichs, Charlaine Harris, Karen Slaughter, Greg Iles, Susan Wittig Albert (series), Jonathan Kellerman, Faye Kellerman to name a few off the top of my head.. (I work in the local library, so it makes it a bit easier to remember). Let me know if you find something you like or if you have suggestions for me...the first writer was right, Iris Johansen is great, especially her novels about the forensic anthropologist that re-constructs faces from skulls. So many books, so little time!!!
Enjoy...hope to hear from you.
