Topic: Does anyone have any recipes
I am interested in learning how to cook healthy for myself and my husband. He'll eat anything I cook. I have found it very difficult to cook "diet" foods that taste good. So if anybody can help me please write.

I have read "She's Come Undone" because my little sister said it was a great book. To be honest, as a Born Again Christian, it was garbage. It has adultery, homosexuality, masturbation etc. A really depressing and horrible book.
Topic: RE: My name is NA and I am addicted.....to books!!!
My name is Julie and I'm also a Book Addict. I am an adult literacy tutor and it's sooo sad to me when adults who can read choose not to.
I like James Patterson's "Alex Cross" series.
I've read "To Kill A Mockingbird" three times!
There are too many to mention. But I think "Mockingbird" is a MUST.
Love,
Julie

I highly recommend a book called "Passing for Thin" by Frances Kuffel. Although she is not a WLS patient (she lost a great deal of weight by attending Overeaters Anonymous), her story of being heavy and then becoming thin is compelling and I recognized myself on almost every page. It's not really the story of how she lost weight -- it's more of how she dealt with the emotional and psychological changes that she experienced while she did.
Hope this helps!
Beth
only two weeks out, but looking forward to "passing for thin"!

Hi Karen I really like your comparisons !!!!! I never thought of the charcters in that way, but you are so right. Grandma IS like Sophia, both very funny. I am waiting for the number 11 also. I hope there are many more. Have a great day, Betty

I love the Evanovich books. I have read all the Stephanie Plum series and am awaiting the 11th book. These books have everything, love, sex, humor, mystery, they have it all in one book. In my mind, I have them all pictured. Like Stephanie would be Sandra Bullock, Lula is Queen Latifah. Grandma Mazur is a hoot, I picture her as Estelle ---- from Golden Girls. Karen

Topic: RE: Looking for Historical Romance Books
Hi Angela,
I would suggest Diane Gabaldon she has a great series about Scotland around 1745. Very good read. See the thread below to get an idea of all the folks out there that enjoy her writing. You can pick up used books on amazon.com at a very reasonable price.
