I like to read too. Horror book are okay as long as it doesn't have to much horror in it. Mysteries, suspense, action, drama are okay too. I'll ready something that grabs my attention and if the story good enough to keep my attention to finish a book. I do like Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe, Washington Irving just to name a few. I'll read just about anything if it's just right and the story keeps my attention long enough to finish a story. Did you know that Stephen King is coming out with a new book called: Joyland. The release date of "Joyland" is June 4, 2013. Just to let you know since you like Stephen King.

I've finally had the surgery and am pretty focused on that now. Haven't written a word in months and might not have the mental energy for writing activities. But I'm interested in what you write, so feel free to contact me!

I'm still presurgery. Longest wait ever!
While I'm struggling to lose the required weight (and how much of a catch 22 is that?!?), I'm trying to finish my novel in progress. Would love to connect with other people who write...for commiseration, mutual encouragement, critiquing, all the usual things writers yak about.
Just thought I'd cast a pebble into the well.
Happy 2012, all.

I am really stuck on Cassandra Clare's books starting with City of Bones and The Clockwork Prince. The City of Bones is part of the Mortal Instruments Series while Clockwork Prince is part of the Infernal Devices Series (second book coming out in December).
I also really liked The Hunger Games, too. All of these books are in the Young Adult readers, so they aren't a difficult read.
Happy Reading!!!
