MY SURGERY DAY IS COMING FAST AND I GET VERY SCARED

HI MY NAME IS BRENDA AND I AM 44 YEAR MOTHER OF 3 AND I HAVE I GRANDCHILD WHO IS 3 HER NAME IS KACIE AND SHE IS MY BEST BUDDY IN THE WORLD. AND THE CLOSER MY SURGERY DAY COMES I GET MORE SCARED.THE THOUGHT OF LEAVING HER JUST PUT'S THE FEAR IN ME TO BACK OUT. I HAVE HAD SURGERY'S BEFORE AND I MADE IT JUST FINE, I THINK THIS IS JUST A BIG LIFE CHANGE FOR ME AND I KNOW ITS NOT JUST A TEMPORARY THING AND I GUESS THE UNKNOWN ALWAYS FEARS ME. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT HAS HAD THIS LAPBAND PUT ON AND CAN GIVE ME A GOOD POSITIVE FEED BACK I TRUST MY DOCTOR BUT I NEED TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE LIKE ME. THAT WANTS TO LIVE A HEALTHY LIFE FOR ALONG TIME . I JUST NEED SOME TO HEAR REAL STORIES HELP FROM KENTUCKY BRENDA

I had lap RNY so I don't have advise on the lap band , and I don't know that much about it . I have heard that is less invasive and that is why people go with it . THe people on the main message boards would probably know more , I know there are a lot more people who post there and lots have had the same thing as you. I am post op and have met my goal with NO complications what so ever I have never been happier in my life ! I finally did something for me and I am never looking back ! My family had their reservations in fact my DH thought this was so dangerous and told me I was being selfish . I had to just put everyones oppinion aside and do what I felt in my heart !
