JRR Tokein's Books

Is this forum just for books about WLS? Is there a forum for movies and other forms of entertainment? Just asking. I read most of the Hobbit books by JRR Tolkein. I did not finish the very last one because someone told me how it ended, and I could not bear to read it. Beth

Hi Beth, Just found your post ... if you haven't yet, you MUST MUST MUST finish the last book ... it's the best part! And they left SO much out of the movies ... pick them up again. I usually read the set about 2-3 times a year and Tolkein's use of language never ceases to amaze me. Just enjoy the WORDS since you already know the story. He really did start it all -- how many other authors have had so many books compared to theirs? OK, I'll stop now. Ann PS: Try the Silmarillion -- exquisite.
