Has anyone else been priviledged enough to read this treasure? I think any woman *****ads it will never be the same. I experienced the same thing when I saw the "Joy Luck Club." I found both very feminine empowering. Beth

That is my favorite book I absoulty love it! She also has other books that are wonderful to read like the Preistesse of Avalon. I am not sure of the spelling but I would encourage you to read some of her other books as well. Let me know if you like them!

I have read Forest House and the other prequel to Mists. Yes, they were good, but I think Mists is the most widely known. I love her work. Did you see the TV movie that came out a couple of years ago? Some of my friends were disappointed that it left so much of the book out, but I think it covered the essentials, and I liked it. I taped it, and now I see it can be purchased. I am so glad to meet you, by the way. I go by my second name Beth. I always have. I am always excited to find someone who sees beyond what we've been taught. I wonder what teeny tiny Vivienne would have thought of WLS? They probably knew all kinds of remedies for everything. I would love to go there someday and just "feel" the place. Now that I will be able to fit into a plane seat, I think I will make going to Avalon/Glastonbury one of my goals. I really like the forums at Obesityhelp.com. I hope this one "picks up," because reading is one of my favorite pasttimes. Beth
