Davinci Code is the best book I have EVER read, ever. I am a voracious reader so this is really saying something! I read the entire book in 9 hours. LOVED LOVED LOVED IT! It has everything you could possibly want in a good book; mystery, intrigue, scandal, religion, sex, murder, art, politics, foreign travel, romance, suspense, folklore, secret societies, and so much more! You will be instantly enthralled, lured into the complex and stunning imagery of the book. Everyone in my family has read it, my 18 year old brother, my mother, my aunts, my uncle, my step-dad, my grand-mother. You will not be disappointed. A must read for 2004!

That was a most excellant book, and believe it or not, a lot of truth woven in and around the storyline! Maybe not all those threads in one place, but there is a lot of mystery surrounding davinci and such. The church still has thousands of pages of archived documents put away from public eyes to 'keep safe'. My brother used to be an illuminator in the vatican in the 60's, and there is so much subtrefuge it bothered him enough that he transferred out. He now is the head of a school in NM. Great book though!

After being addicted to Dean Koontz books for a couple of years, I desperately needed a change. My mom, niece, and I drove to Florida this past weekend, and The Da Vinci Code was on the back seat. I picked it up and could not put it down. I liked it so much, I went to Barnes and Noble and bought Dan Brown's 3 previous books. How exciting and refreshing! And how wonderful that Obesityhelp.com has this forum message board. I love reading, and I love sharing what I read. Beth

Dan Brown rocks!! Try Angles and Demons too. Robert Langdon is the main character again. It starts out almost the same, but it is really good too. Now, I am reading Digital Fortress, also by Dan Brown. So far, it is ok. I am onlyl a few chapters in, so we shall see. I do have some books about the scared feminine if anybody is interestsed in buying them. I was obcessed with Mary M. for a while after reading The Da Vinci Code... Email me if you are interested...

This book was given to us as a gift and it has sat on the desk for months. I haven't picked it up and my husband is not the type to read for enjoyment. But after reading all this I guess I better dust it off and check it out!
