WLS books
I recently read the following:
Weight Loss Surgery by Barbara Thompson
The Magic Pill by Teri Kai Holtzclaw
Become You by Teri Kai Holtzclaw
Weight Loss Surgery by Michelle Boasten
I highly recommend all four, and I ordered the workbook for Weight Loss Surgery (although you can download it from this web site http://www.alongtheweigh.com ).
Surgery end of June!

Pam: I'll have to check these books out. They look interesting. I'm very interested in the workbook and maybe I'll download it.
Have you read Carnie Wilson's books. I really related to her story in terms of the emotional and psychological aspects of growing up, living fat and losing weight. She's right that it's not what's on your hips, but between your ears that make you fat.
Best wishes for your upcoming surgery! I'm still waiting for Kaiser to "let" me talk to a surgeon. My dream date is August 20th. I want to have this surgery NOW and get on with the Rest of My Life!!!
