Looks good man! I do food audits every now and again, helps keep you in check. I have pretty much stopped losing wise, which is fine with me, now I am just working on building up the lean muscle mass. I think the bod pod is cool. We are going to do another one in May *or there abouts*. I was planning on getting my Resting metabolic rate done today, but the machine isn't working right, so they have to get it recalibrated. Sucked for sure.
I am thinking about having a glass of Pinot Grigio tonight. What's the take on wine? I hear all kinds of different things. I mean, as far as calories, etc. go. I LOVE my wine.
I am hooked on the latte's too, expensive little addiction isn't it? We have these punch cards for the espresso shop in the hospital, after you buy so many you get a free one, man I am working on getting that free latte!! I have some great goals huh?

I tend to like those fast workouts too, just wish I could have jammed a little more in there!!
Great workout! Man, you know you have done a great job when you have those rubbery wobbly legs! Maxing out!! How cool is that?
I know people think we are crazy, but when you see the muscle building up man it is just worth it. I alwasy feel so good after a workout like that.
Tomorrow is chest/tri/delt/ab day! WOO HOO! Earl isn't going to be my cabanna boy until Sunday. He works out tomorrow too!

Just thought I would post my food intake today, I love reading the "what did you eat" on the Cali board, gives insight into what is, or is not working for others. This is a tipical day now (For the last week) I have changed things up a little. Being 10 months out and taking in more calories, it was time to lower the fat% of my daily intake, so I stay under 30% for the total day, and get good carbs and protein but try not to be too anal (Which is hard for me). I am feeling great, and have begun losing again, 3 pounds so far this week, I have also gained another 2 pounds of lean body mass so now at 207#'s LBM. according to measurements and Tanida BF scale. I want to do the Bodpod as soon as one hits the area, more accurate I am sure.

Thanks Val. I do believe there is a master plan too. I need to remind myself that sometimes.
You should get your NP and work with the bariatric patients!!

Just remember everything will work out if you let it. Just remember that there is always a plan, we may not like it, but you just gotta roll with it because there is ultimately a reason!
I am happy for you on the consult Monday! NP's are great. I am seriously toying with the idea of getting my practitioners license one day!
Keep us posted!
Hugs,
Val

Above is my post from the Maryland boards. What a day!!
Cliff Notes of that post:
- consult I had been waiting to get for the last month was going to happen on Monday
- get call from office staff last night that he had to cancel
- call them this morning and the next available date is almost another month away.
- get a call at 4pm today from the really nice NP in his office to say they took too many people off his schedule and to come in Monday anyway.
I was close to tears when I was told I had to wait another month.
Ok...
I really was in tears when I hung up the phone! My husband probably thought I was nuts. I just was really anxious and excited to do the consult and get things moving after doing all the research the last couple years. I was so disappointed when I heard they couldn't fit me in for another month. Then I reasoned that I've waited this long another month isn't going to kill me and if anything I will just keep doing my thing and working towards getting healthy. Someone was looking out for me!! I was elated to get a call back to hear they will still see me this Monday.
Maybe my luck will continue and I can get a tenative surgery date for April. I think he might have some openings in March but I doubt insurance will be approved that fast and I have too much going on at work next month to take off the two weeks (or more if needed). I'm in the middle of too many major new projects - PACS (filmless Radiology) system selection, Ncoder (medical coding) software implementation, Imagenow Scanning Software implementation, and Enterprise Faxing Software selection and implementation not to mention my zillion other little projects.
