Topic: RE: Cardio last? It worked!
Nice Job Kelly!! It looks like your ticker was willing to work harder but the legs gone. Its always something. Sometimes for me the legs are fine but the ticker says no way. The best is when they fatigue at the same time. Sweating is a very good indicator that you are in the fat burning zone. If you are working out hard and NOT sweating...that could be a problem. I know what you mean about "sweating like a pig". I step of the treadmill on some days and I want to get out of the gym ASAP because it looks like I just showered with my clothes on. Keep it up

Hi Stacy. I order EXACTLY what you did ( same flavors too) except I order twice the iron ( I take it twice a day) because I am VERY anemic.

Has anyone ever read the book by Bill Phillips? What do you think of his weight lifting tips?

Topic: Cardio last? It worked!
Okay. For my Saturday morning workout I warmed up for 10 minutes on the bike. I worked out with the weight machines and then walked 25 minutes on the treadmill (that included a 5 minute cool down) AFTER weight training. I have to say that I had MORE energy on the treadmill and felt like I could have kept walking and for the FIRST time I sweated like a pig ( I hate that term but didn't know what else to use). My hands were even sweating and I was in my target heart range VERY fast. I could not believe it! I would have kept going but my legs felt like jell-o.
I will be working out in that order from now on. I felt AWESOME after and felt like I had really worked out. Thanks for all your tips!

I know my buddy Earl would never give a PDA in the gym. I do see couples in my gym cling to each other and I want to say to them ..."Hey buddy ..go get a room... You are taking up precious lifting space that I need.., this is a gym not a hotel room"

Ok, I looked at your options a little closer and here is what I would do if these options were presented to me.
Monday I would do Pilates. Great core workout. and good for flexibility
Tuesday Lift (45-60min) and cardio (at end of workout 15-30min)
Wednesday Pilates
Thursday Lift (45-60min) and cardio (at end of workout 15-30min)
Friday Cycle Spin
Saturday Lift (45-60min) and cardio (at end of workout 15-30min)
Sunday- sit on couch and watch football
Ok...you don't have to watch football, but you do need a rest day. I try to "schedule" 6 days but....with a job and family, I get in 4-5.
I can't see the Body Burn helping you. I think your weight training would really be compromised if you added it. The Circuit Training looks like it has a strength training portion, which again would conflict with your own strength training program. Good Luck

Awesome, sounds like a great start, you have to stay here now, we send people if you not post.

OMG NEVER!! That is so not cool in the gym! I see people do that!
Get a room will ya?!?!?!
Now, at home in our own gym....that's a different story

Thanks John! Where you been?
Oh, there's ALWAYS energy for that! I have an open account with my trainer and a constant tab running!

You go girl! Sounds like a plan. I envy your schedule!!! I work full time, and have two teenage daughters. My job requires me to be on call about 6 days a month, so that kinda gets in the way of training sometimes too. I am an OB Research nurse, and you know, labor happens at any time!
If it rains money on your end would ya set out a bucket for me? I would LOVE a spa to go to on a regular basis! As for the Swan? I dunno, I wanted to do EXM or that but the more I look into it, the more I am not so sure. I don't know if my family could take me being away and I think I would be in major withdrawl from my hubby and kids...and the internet! You can't have contact with anybody. I would freak out I think.
I will keep a look out for your posts. I am going to see a ps for fine tuning this week. I am going to try to submit a claim for it to see if my insurance will cover it. Wish me luck. It's just for breast reconstruction. I have resigned to the fact that they won't cover anything else, because the rest of me isn't needing it for medical reasons. So, one part at a time.
Take care, and keep up the great job!
