Hi Kel - I use the Harbinger flex fit weight lifting gloves. I think they run just under $20 most places. Found them on amazon.com for you for 17.99 - http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00074T81Q/sr=1-1/qid=1107217757/ref=sr_1_1/104-8225599-5384747?%5Fencoding=UTF8&n=3375301&s=sporting-goods&v=glance See if that link works but if not just go and do a search on them. Gym bag I would just get in your local target or walmart. If you want to go to a specific sporting goods store try Dicks, The Sports Authority, or Modells. You can order online if you don't have any close to you. Modells - http://www.modells.com/home/index.jsp Dicks - http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/home/index.jsp Sports Authority - http://www.thesportsauthority.com/home/index.jsp Happy shopping!!

Most Excellent! Yep sweating is a good thing and I love it! It is much harder for me to work up a good sweat anymore, which is ok, that makes me work harder. Be sure to keep you water with you and drink drink drink, you don't want to dehydrate... Funny thing is we say sweat like a pig (I use it too) but pigs don't sweat, that's why they waller in the mud...wonder where that originated, anyways, horses sweat, and sweat a lot. Maybe we should say that instead! It is great. I love it. You will find how fast you become addicted to working out. KEEP IT UP!! GREAT JOB!!! Just think all that sweat dripping off is pounds leaving your body baby!

I have had this book forever. I bought it on one of my "oh I know this diet is going to work for me" stage. So I am going to read the weight lifting portion at lunch today. Kelly

Topic: Consult Update
Went really well today. I met with the NP for a half hour. She is a character and we had a great time talking. Dana came along with me to the visit. I made my nutrional consult for 2/17 and am awaiting a call back on the psyc consult. Dr. Schweitzer says that April is a realistic expectation for the surgery and that I am an ideal candidate. They will submit everything to BC/BS in the next week. He said turnaround time for approval can take up to 4 - 6 weeks. I only talked to him for a few minutes. Pat had already answered most of my questions and I have done so much research already that I know exactly what to expect. I weighed 278 today. My height is still 5'4. Puts me at a BMI of 48. My BP was higher than it has ever been.. 148/100 I think part of it might have been the sugar free red bull I had in the am. Usually it is more like 140/90. My pulse was high as well.

I like the book. Very sound fundamental weight training stuff. The diet portion are small meals like we need. I like the picture aspect of the program. I think the marketing of Body for Life is brilliant. I wish I had stock in EAS (company that sponsors challenge). I am working on my own book called Bariatric For Life. I will challenge all the WLS people to try my program, (but they must buy my overpriced special supplements). In a few years, I figure I will be a multimillion air. Does anyone want to take my challenge?....or work on a book with me?
