Awesome Brenda!!! That is so cool, as for the rest, I agree with Earl (Big surprise) it is doable, but you are so close, the last ten are the hardest. You seem so determined, I can totaly see you doing it.

Thanks for the invite Earl, it was sooooooooo lonely over at the Track and Field forum. LOL anyhow as I mentioned there, both my daughters are into track and field. and guess what? they both lift weights also. so coming here will be interresting for me, to learn more about what they are experiencing. Hey, maybe I will do this one day also. Thanks Earl for the invite again. **Hugs**

Food~ 4:30am Quaker Regular Oatmeal packet w/ 2 TB Herbalife Choc Protein Powder 7:15am PB Granola Bar (Not the best choice but best for what was available at the time -Light Workout- 10:00am 2 slices 12 grain bread w/ 1 fried egg and 1 oz cheddar cheese 1:00 pm 3 cups mixed green salad w/ assorted veggies, 3 oz grilled chicken breast, 2 TB balsamic vinegarette 3:30 pm (Remainder of salad from lunch) 3 cups mixed green salad w/ assorted veggies, 3 oz grilled chicken breast, 2TB balsamic vinegarette 6:30pm 3 oz Ground Turkey + Salsa + Corn Tortilla (taco) 8:30pm 2 tsp unsweet cocoa powder + 1 splenda packet + 4 oz cottage cheese + 1 tsp smuckers natural PB = healthy version of peanut butter cup - ok it's a stretch but it still tastes pretty good I said this before but when I get home from work is my absolute hardest time of the day. Sometimes we don't even make it to the house and end up just going out. It seems like I do well all day long and then I sabotage myself for dinner. Last night was ok - ended up using one of those lean cuisines in the bag stir fry kit. The night before I ate 1/2 of a 12 inch medium pizza pie loaded with sausage, pepperoni, and veggies. I had planned to just order 2 slices of cheese pizza but was with Dana and a special caught my eye when we walked into the pizza place. Then on top of that Dana orders cheese fries. Of course I split this with him too. I just can't think clearly at this time of the evening. If I don't have something planned and I am tired or have a lousy day at work it's over. I've got to break this habit and I can't rely on Dana to help because he is just as bad. Please tell me this gets a little easier with WLS!! Do you guys have to work so hard at planning meals still or does it just come natural now? I'm going to try to focus on water loading on the car ride home. Maybe that will help some. I've also been keeping a box of power crunch low carb high protien bars in the car and am good with having just one. I ran out a few days ago so time to restock.

I made it to the gym but had a crappy workout. Knee was bugging me today. At least I made it. Got in 20 min of assorted cardio. Kept trying different equipment to see what would work. Even tried the recumbent bike which I don't like at all. Even that caused knee pain. I decided to forget the light leg workout and go with a core workout instead - mostly just abs and back. Then took a nice hot shower. Total workout was 40 minutes. Avg HR 120. Have a happy friday!

Thanks everyone for your support. Valerie your response made me laugh. I have to tell ya'll what happend before and after I got on the scale. The nurse called me back and there it was..... dun dun dun..... THE SCALE (playing in my head is the theme from psycho, camera zooming in and out). She said, step on the scale. I said if you don't mind I would rather not because I had gastric bypass and I am only weighing at my surgeons office. She was very understanding and said no problem. After the visit with my new hotty, I mean cutie, I mean DOCTOR, I came out of the exam room and there is was, staring at me. So I gave it the big snub and went to the receptionist and there was it's twin! Is this a conspiracy? Am I am being stalked! I had to give in due to the subliminal messages it was sending me. So off with my shoes and onto the scale. When I started to move the bars of horror to tell me how much I weigh I would not get the lever to go level. It kept hitting the bottom. So I slowly moved it to the left. More, more, more....... I was certain there must be something wrong with the scale so I said to the receptionist, is this thing right???? Then I called NURSE! LOL She came over and showed me it was just calibrated on 1/25/05. Then she helped me find out my exact weight. I could not believe it. I put my face in my hands but not before I admired how pretty my nails are. LOL Anyway, I started to cry. Then the nurse said ohhhhhhh, that is so awesome and she got teary eyed. The receptionist said oh no, don't cry you are making me cry and came around with a box of tissue. So there we were, 3 grown women crying for the loss of my fat. LOL I had never met these women and they were so supportive and for that I am so greatul. THEE END................ Kelly

Topic: I'M DOING IT DAILLY!!!!!!!
Hey there guys and gals. I have been working out daily!!!! It feels so good....and drum roll please. I have lost 2.5lbs since Sunday. Yup...I went back to better eating habit's..which means layed off the coke, and have had only one diet pepsi in a week. Which actually that is not even good, since it is not a clear soda, but hey. Also have laid off sweets. Basically went back to where I should have NEVER LEFT. lol You guys all inspire me so much. I no I can get off these last few lbs with your support. Now here is the question. If I stay faithful with working out(mostly cardio) 5 x a week, do you think I can loose 10 lbs by the12 of MArch? I weigh 143.5 now, and my goal is to weigh 135, by the 12 of march. (My daughters baby shower) I will see MANY of my ex's family, including the ex. I no that seems silly, but my ex left me several years ago due to weight gain. His faverite words used to be"Why can't you look like you used to" Well, I just had your baby...duh. I'm over it...really I am, but it will just be nice to see his look on his face. I did lower body yesterday, with a 3 mi walk...today I will do upper body with a 3.5 mi walk. I also just got my Calanetics video also..Can you say TOUGH. I made it through the warm ups. lol Take care. Brenda 268/143.5/135...oh please oh please oh please
