Hiya Val, Ok, ya got me-- what are floor presses and close grip lockouts? Way to get back to it when you can, girl! It's not whether you miss a day, but whether you get back in and work it! The easiest thing in the world to do is to miss a day, then two, then it's a week, and you say to yourself, "What the heck, it's already a week; so why not make it 2 weeks?" That's the temptation, and you obviously didn't fall for it! Big ole kudos to ya! I was flaring all day on Saturday and stayed away from the gym this time! Got back into it Sunday, though I wasn't 100% I felt 80%, and the workout went extremely well. Had a minor flare last night which kept me up so a little tired today, but better than yesterday. And today is LEG DAY again! I'm focused on getting in a good workout and I need to try to remember to stretch after so I don't go to bed overtight. I'm thinking that would help to mitigate the flares a bit. Hugs, Donna E. www.teklawgirl.biz

Jason, I think you can get addicted to the "endorphins" released during exercise....But I think that is much healthier than a food addition. NICE JOB!!

Hi Jason! Absolutely I remember you, and WOW Way to go man! 112 is AWESOME!!! I know you have to feel so good about yourself. And, no I don't think that you are doing too much. You are young, enjoy it! We were at the gym today on Super Bowl Sunday too! I hope you ARE making this an addiction! What better addiction is there? I am so happy we were able to help you out. That's what it's all about man! Just having you email has made my whole week. Now, it's your turn to go help someone out! I bet the babes are just flocking all over ya huh? Keep up the great work Jason, I am really super proud of you! And just knowing that you have started a great habit and are helping yourself achieve that dream is the best thanks you can give to me. Thanks for sharing that with us!! Take care, don't be a stranger! Hugs, Val

Topic: Update on me!!
Thanks to Val and her husband for getting me back on track about 5 months ago with excersise. I have lost a total of 112 lbs and I work out 6 days a week now. I think I am getting addicted to excerise, so I am trying to keep in in porportion. Sometimes, I catch myself going to the gym twice a day. Like when I do my weights in the morning sometimes I go do 30 mins of cardio the same night. 3 days a week I lift, and the other 3, I do an hour of cardio. and sometimes on my lifting days I throw 30 mins of cardio in. Could I possibly be excersing too much!! actually today I went to the gym, and yes its Superbowl Sunday. so I have actually went all week, and twice a day on some days. I hope I am not making this an addiction!! But thanks guys for the encouragement, and getting my back on track. Jason ps. I dont know if you guys remember helping me or not, but it was appreciated.

Hi Valerie, thanks I know what you mean. about your daughters, my older one, it seem has it in her blood and she will try any sport if she can. she enjoyed the attention and all. my younger one couldn't run cause of her weight. so she picked shot put and is good at it. Once upona time she use to run just as fast as her older sister. but things turned out this way. Sorry about your younger daughters mono issues, I know she wants to get back on track fast. LOL get it. back on track. LOL anyhow she will soon and your oldest one has found her calling. she's good at what she do, then that's great. congrats to them both. and for me I'm to old for weight lifting at 50, I might break something. LOL take care

I know we all laugh at the profile thing, but Mike, I have experienced those EXACT feelings...oh man was I relating big time! Great job, I am really proud that you pushed right through that and got your workout inspite of the anxiety! I hate some of those machines, I find comfort in the dumbbells too! I am just a dumbbell in the dumbbells!
