Topic: Now I am freakin!!!!!
I am now in the process of being diagnosed with full blown diabetes instead of insulin resistance due to pcos.
My aunt just went into the hospital because of diabetes. She has an ulcer on her leg that is all the way to the bone!
I don't want to wait! I want the surgery now!!!! This is crazy. I was okay with the wait until now. I started to bawl when I called Dr. Von Rueden to make sure I had all my ducks in a row. Cherie was so compassionate! Now that I puked that out typing, I feel a little better!

Nice workout!
It took me forever to get over that hurl feeling when I first started lifting heavier. It was this mental challenge I needed to get over. I use to stop when I felt sick but now I'm able to push through it and it usually goes away. Sometimes a few sips of gatorade helps or just really focusing on my breathing. Dana jokes around and says "just let me know if you need the bucket." I think he enjoys torturing me and his clients. I felt like that at the end of my Sunday session.

I never thought about trying caffine. Do you just drink some green tea or something? I needed something immediate. I was feeling really bad and having trouble breathing. I started getting sick and lightheaded from the shallow breaths. I probably should of gone to the ER and gotten a nebulizer treatment or something. I woke up still congested today so maybe it is just some sort of cold or bronchitis that came on quickly.
My work out this morning was 25 minutes of light cardio. Tomorrow I'm doing core - back/abs stuff. Cardio Wednesday. Then Thursday I will do legs. Friday upper.

Becareful with the asthma stuff. It gets dangerous as I am sure you well know...
and Primatene mist is a with high blood pressure kiddo! Caffeine would work much better as a bronchodialtor, and if you are wheezing that bad...GO TO THE ER!!!
I lost a friend/colleague to an asthma attack. She left behind a 5 year old little boy. Very sad. Asthma is no joke, please be careful!

Sat.. I did not workout.. instead I went to the spa.. all day. It felt really good. I got haircut, highlights, wax, and manicure. I was there for 5 hours!! Then I bought some new clothes. Shocked on the sizes I had to buy. I'm back up to a 22 and a 2x/3x. I actually bought a pair of jeans that was a 24. =( At my wedding in October I had been wearing a size 20 dress and fit into some things that were 16 - 18's. I was also 245 then.. not 280 as I am now. Another scary thing happened today. About 30 minutes after leaving the gym I had an asthma attack. Something I had not experienced in over two years when I use to be at this weight. I wasnt doing high cardio.. it was light so not sure if maybe allergies might have triggered it. I ended up having to run out to rite aid and get some primatine mist and some claritin. That took care of it. Also not the greatest thing to do with my recent High BP's but I took a chance. If it happens again I will go to the ER or Dr to see if he can get me on RX inhalers again.

Ya be careful with that. I think that might be how I ended up with an IT band injury. You may want to take it easy and not get out of the seat for a while or at least not for long periods of time. The explosive up and down is not good for it. You might also want to try wraping it for some additional support when you do ride. Also make sure to warm up really well before. Hope you feel better soon.

ooohh me too! That just bites. Try icing it down in the evenings when you are off it. That will help with any inflammation.
Don't get discouraged, don't give up, take a few days to mend then try again, slow and easy.
