The need for speed! YO! Speed night, and I feel awesome.
I will tell you, I have been down in the dumper all day. Just blue, down, dumpy, etc. But after I finished in the gym I was almost euphoric. That was the best I felt all day. I was so excited over my gains tonight I was practically flitting around the place. I know they think I am nuts...oh well who cares?

Thanks guys for all your support and encouragement. You all are the best!

Yes it is! Epsecially when it's a PT with benefits!
Earl's a great trainer. The only thing is I get the giggles sometimes I can't help it and I don't know why.
But, he can push me like no bodies business. I feel much safer when he's there too, so that helps.
That and it's nice to have this big burly guy follow me around the gym!
Topic: Better late than never!
Hi guys!
I worked my behind off (has anyone seen it? Please return it to me in the prepaid envelope!)
Sunday Earl blasted me through a tough one. I thought the gym was open til 9pm (according to it's web site it is) but the hours on the door were different, so that cut me short by an hour! Oh well I think that makes for a good intense workout...
Here goes
15 minutes on the eliptical for warm up and mini cardio
I tried to learn front squats, but my knees protested loudly. It seems any time I am taking my knee out in front of my foot I have really bad pain, even with super tight wraps, but I got a few in.
Front squat
45# x 5 x 5 x 5
65# x 6
85# x 3
95# x 1
Deadlifts
45# x 5
135# x 3
185# 6 singles with 30 second rest between each one
135# x 2 singles with 30 second rest between each one
WOO HOO!! Feeling strong tonight I haven't deadlifted since before my surgery!!!
Butt blaster
30# x 6 each leg
40# x 6 each leg
50# x 6 each leg
Supported t-rows
25# x 12
35# x 12
Breakdown set 25# rep out
10# rep out
Seated calf raises
45# x 12 x 12 x 12
That's it. Wow. This one wiped me out, and I felt it today! That's a sign of a good work out!
It's back at it tomorrow for speed day. Earl's on vacation this week so I get to have my personal trainer for 6 sessions in a row! I AM IN HEAVEN!!!
Have a good one gang!
Val
