Hello Otis, I'm not real sure because I'm not a fitness expert; but my vote is that the elliptical would burn more calories because you are using more of your body there than on the treadmill. I'm only 3 weeks post-op and am working my way back to the elliptical trainer by way of the stationary bicycle. When I reach 30 minutes there I'll know I'm ready for the elliptical -- and you are correct it is so much better for your knees -- even more so than the treadmill -- don't care for those very much either. Are you a Reverend as well -- so am I! Peace,

B&W I love to train on the elliptical trainer. It is easier on my knees. I want to know, do you burn more calories on the elliptical or on a treadmill, with equal intensity? Rev. B.

What are the best workout videos/DVD out there? As the weather is changing I wont be able to ride the bike any longer. I need to be able to work up a sweat at home. So what videos to you have?
