Mike, man if I didn't love you so much I would hate you for your weather!
We have been doing the Arnold Show with YOUR governor! How's that? Saturday we woke up to a winter wonderland. It was really beautiful, white everywhere, and it was quiet except for the spring songbirds that were out. I imagine they were cussing in birdie language at the snow!
But, it was really not cold enough to stick, so by 6pm it was gone. Ohio weather for you, it really is tempermental at best!
I am really happy for you and your veins! I know the feeling because I am really getting my veins too! It's like wearing your weight lifting medal around, because you can see them and everyone knows that means you pump iron baby!!
We watched some AWESOME lifts yesterday. Two guys squatted 1124 pounds, and there were several 800 pound benches! What blows my mind is the Olympic Lifters snatching all that weight above their heads...
Ok, well off for the last day of the Freak Show! I will make sure Earl posts some pictures somewhere...we got some good ones so far. Today I am going to try to do a strongwoman thing at the MetRX booth. What the heck, you only live once!

Topic: Veggies in after WLS?Juicing/Juicers?
After you get the protein in, how did you get the veggies in?
Did anyone use a juicer to make fresh veggie juice? Did anyone dump on carrot juice or veggie juice mixed with fruit juice? Question for those that did dump ... I was wondering if the fructose would cause you to dump even in small amts if you are a few weeks post up?
I'm thinking about investing in a good juicer. I had a juiceman 2 for a bit but only used it twice. It was a pain in the butt to clean too. Anyone have any that they use and like? Sounds like the Omega 8003 is good from my research - does veggies, fruit, and wheatgrass - it is around $260.. pretty pricey but I've seen others that cost even more!

nice workout... and nice weather over there!!!!!!!!!!!! Snow still on the ground and chilly here! My parents are visiting from NJ for my mothers bday and Dana's mom flew in from San Jose, CA for the weekend.

It is a great, no frills, easy to follow program if you are just starting to get into weight lifting consistently. Bill Phillips book is very inspiring as well. He has great info on getting you into the right mind set, setting measureable goals, etc. I do know some people that still do the program multiple times and are even more seasoned lifters. I send everyone to the website too because they have the best animations and video to show you good form on the classic resistance training moves.

I just started the body for life program this week. I have been excersising weekly with weight and cardio for at least 7 months. Just one body for life upper body workout had me sore for 3 days. I was really shocked!!! I think I will see some really good results with this program. I have notices a little definition in my arms already. What are you guys thoughts about the program. ALso Earl, do you have any more updated pictures?

Yard work beautiful 72 degrees today!!!! Plateau is over, lost 5 pounds in three days; I did lose 4%ish body fat while on plateau, just no weight. I HAVE VEINS!!! They are poppin! I love the one on my bicep, looks like a big fat worm. I never was veiny, even when I was in shape, oh well, It is so different in how I look and feel from this weight before, more muscle.

Pec Deck Flys (machine): Set 1: 12 reps @ 48.0 lbs | Set 2: 10 reps @ 62.0 lbs
