Tuesday... Cut the grass this morning...what a workout. A hour and a half pushing a lawn mower is probably the best cardio workout I do. I need a nap. 7 pm to 8 pm @ work Threw Discus, discus drills...pretty much sucked. I have no energy today. "Life's too short to be weak." -

Here's Monday's workouts for me... 11:15 am to noon Throwing 2 k discus - Great day 1 K discus - Awesome 20 # shot sucked 16 # shot sucked some more Shot just kills my forearm, I can't do it a lot just get 10 throws or so in. Discus was just right on today. 12:30 to 2 pm @ home gym Incline Press with 2 sets chains added to bar (80# extra at top) worked up to sets of 5 with 155 Incl Discus flyes 35# - 25# Hand turned thumbsup but basically a DB Fly Weight Swings - 1 handed - 50 wt - (I love these! These are going to be a good conditioner and warm up. My new toys are awesome.) 1 handed press overhead with 50 wt - sets of 3-4 reps, killer on grip and forearm because you have to balance the thing. DB Laterals 30 # - 15# Hanging Leg Raises supersetted with close grip pushups on handles Work 3 pm to midnight 7:15 pm to 8 pm @ work gym Inverted Rows - 10 sets different grips (basically put smith machine bar up to about 4 feet, lay on ground and do chin ups/rows with bodyweight walk treadmill 30 min, 3 mph, level 5 "What can be conceived and be believed, can be achieved...unless you're over 45, then you're just a senile old fart."

Hey guys! Ok did my 45 mins of interval on the eliptical for cardio Weights I focues on upper body today...I'm trying to really build my triceps and biceps. Also my abs..going for a 4 pack! Hope you have a good work out and let's get this board hopin' again!

Enjoy the vacation. I could use one myself. I need to learn how to play golf. It looks like fun. My shoulders are so tight I have problems swinging correctly. I have a couple of clubs I swing around every so often, just for the heck of it. I think they used to be my brothers, he used to hit rocks with them. It worked for his baseball swing, not sure about golf though. Have a good vacation. I'm working everyday this week so I can take the weekend off to compete.

Nice weights, I like to see what "experienced" muscles can do. I still struggle with the heavy weights, more mental than physical for me here. Rain? That does suck! Walked 9 holes of golf, bike ride later just 2 miles of active rest kind of riding. 9 more holes of golf tomorrow at 5am (On vacation) trying to get as much golf in as humanly possible. MIke

Rain again today, so no throwing. Sucks because I have my first meet next Saturday in Pa. Noon am to 2 pm @ home Power Cleans worked up to 201 # 1 arm pressing with my new toy weights (I gotta post some pics of these things) Squats with 2 sets of chains (extra 80# at the top of lift) worked up to 309# Good morning with 2 sets of chains worked up to 199# plus chains Declline situp w/30 pound DB on chest Sidebends w/ 90# DB walk 30 min worked 3 pm to midnight 8:15 pm to 9 pm @ work Tri Set Calf Press on leg press machine 1 legged leg curls Standing abs walked 30 min, 3.3 mph, level 5 "Do it because others won't."

Great minds think alike. I think the time was just right to get this hopping again. Get some new blood in here too. I've lurked on here, changed my name, after Val told me about the divorce I emailed OH and asked them to remove my profile...every post you do is linked to that profile. Like I never existed. (I didn't want to trash talk her on here, I had anger issues at first) Almost as bad as Myspace "Earl has 0 friends" is what it says. Sad. I missed it too. It gets addicting. I still don't like posting all my weights and sets and stuff. But I'll try every so often.
