Thanks John =) I just know I've put on a few more pounds lately and it is really making me feel uncomfortable. If I could just loose a few lbs or remain stable it would be nice. I will talk to the surgeon about it on Tuesday. Maybe he can give me a good pre-op diet to help me jump start my progress. Less than 6 weeks to go!!!

Stacy, I am glad your joints are feeling better. I think that 4 days a week is plenty of cardio.v I think 5-6 was too much. Dont worry about the eating, it will take care of itself after the surgery. Good Luck
Topic: Got an early b-day present!!
My birthday isn't until March 24th but I went out this weekend and bought some bike shoes as a present. Tried them out spinning today and had a blast! Joints have been doing great.. probably because I am only getting into the gym 4 days a week instead of 5 - 6. I keep doing a combo of cardio and weights last 60 - 75 minutes for the total workout.
Eating is ...well.. ermm.. ok confession.. HORRID!! We have been going out a ton. Seems like everynight. I think Dana is more in last meal mode then me. He brought junk food home a couple times and justified it as last time I will eat so much of X food.. yesterday was a giant black and white cookie. This morning it was bagels. Stuff I wouldn't even eat normally. I told him (and myself) tonight we need to chill out on the junk. Tuesday I get to see my new surgeon for the consult and pre-op chat. I'm very excited. I am a little nervous about the inital post op tests. His are so comprehesive. EGD, abdominal US, etc. Im hoping he isnt going to make me do a sleep study also. I'm dreading the EGD.
What pre-op testing did you have to do?

Dana and I have had a number of those days. Lifting is so much mental. If you get out of that zone sometimes it can be really hard to regain that focus. Be happy you gave it a try and made it today. Remember were you were at a few years ago and applaud yourself for making the effort to go back and give it a try. You are right... Monday is a new week and you will have a good one. Nice job!!
