Good for you, worked it anyway! I love the Scottish games, I think you would do well if you ever competed.
Summer is here, 108 today, and the same forcast through next week, but of course it is a dry heat.

Ended up being 108, so after I got some planting done it was all about swimming. It is still 101 at 9:00pm, just got out of the pool, felt good.

Man I'm tired. Worked out anyway.
11:45 am to 12:30 pm
Throwing in the park, hot and humid, I think I'm going to die.
Threw 2k and 1 k discus, no shot put today.
I got invited by a throwing buddy to an informal Scottish games contest at Dennison University tomorrow, with some living legends, Brian Oldfield and John Powell, both medal winning Olympians. It's supposed to rain, so might get canceled, but I'd like to meet them anyway.
1:30 pm to 3 pm - @ home
speed bench with mini bands
Power Jerk
Push press
press
decline situp/twists
Rest of the day off (still have to work 5 pm to 11 pm)

Yeah I think Hanging leg raises do more for my grip and forearms than abs.
Topic: RE: Ok I'm a little slow!
I suck also, but I love it. I wish I would have taken lessons before I introduced all the bad habits into my swing. It is awesome getting out there early, and walking 18 holes is about a five mile walk, pushing or carrying the clubs (In my case up and down hills) is a workout.

Good workout Earl! hanging leg raises are awesome, love/hate them.

getting some planting done this morning, then swimming and a workout at some point. The cooler with beer sounds pretty tempting, hmmm beer!
Topic: RE: Wednesday's am workout
Hey Mike,
I think if it was 105 here, all I would do is put some ice in the pool and lay in there with a cooler of beer all day.
Have a good weekend.

I am going to just say nothing again, I am very sore though, walked golf (two miles pushing a cart), swam, mowed my yard with way to many hills and lawn. 105 degrees today so what ever I do will be early, nothing but swimming later. I love eliptical trainers, good workout. Increase your weights often to challenge your muscles, if you cannot lift it you can go back down. You can throw new movements in from time to time as well; this keeps things fresh for me.
Have a great weekend.
