I guess I am a newbie again too!

Hi again! I know, I know, where have I been?? Lost. Stacey, Earl said you wanted me to post! Well, I thought I was going to have a bunch of time to get back to posting, but I forgot how much fun it was to switch jobs... NOT. Orienting to the unit, etc. I am excited about it tho. SO, I get my workouts rolling again, start my week of orientation and BAM! Sinus infection right out of the giddy up...man put me DOWN. I had a horrible fever for a couple of days, now I am just trying to get rid of the residual cough and snot outta my head...I think if I blow my nose anymore my heads gonna cave right in. My nose is so sore. Welcome to Ohio the sinus capital of the world. Anywhooo, so that be the haps with me. Soon as I feel like it won't kill my immune system I am going to be right back at it. I loved getting my training started again. Now I gotta start all over again...oh well, just pick yourself up dust yourself off and start all over again right? RIGHT! So...be patient with me, I WILL be hauting you all once more hopefully soon. I am taking this quarter off from school to get used to my new job, then it will be back at it. This time my work schedule will be a little more forgiving and I shouldn't be so exhausted or stressed out. In the meantime, try to stay well, and keep hittin' the iron. Peace, Val

Hey you!!! I feel much better today. Tomorrow is my last day of Central Nurse Orientation, and then my unit officially owns me. I am looking forward to being out of the office and back into patient care. I have really missed it. It will be nice to have more of my life back. I don't miss being on call at all. that sucked majorly, especially those 2 am pages!
