Last year, I took my son to Baseline Fitness for a Bod Pod test. He was 19% body fat which put him on the high end of "normal". I took him back today and he was down to 10.7%.(low end of lean) He has made an AWSOME reduction fat percentage. I am soooo proud of him. He achieved his goal with a very strict diet and a great cardio and weight program. He goes to the gym with me but he does his own intense program. He has inspired me to really focus on the diet. He is so good abou****ching his calories. He writes down everything that he eats. I guess I need to start writing stuff down.

That is awesome! Congrats to him. Wow 10%!! I think my husband sits around 9 - 11%. That is just so amazing to me. What an accomplishment. Your son sounds very diciplined. I bet he is very pleased too. Sometimes I go through phases where I write stuff down but then I feel like I am obsessing too much. If I felt like I was off track I'd probably start again. So far I'm doing pretty good lately other then a gyn issue that will hopefully be diagnosed and sorted out this week. Hoping it won't mean more surgery anytime soon. Keep your fingers crossed. I've been in a crap load of pain the last few days. It actually kept me out of work on Friday. I've gone from a scary 48% BF down to 34-35% in just over 5 months. Lots more to go but so far so good. Down 61lbs today. 20lbs to onderland. Should be there by Christmas or sooner. I was in a clothing store buying a cute suit the other day and got right up in front of a 3 way mirror. Something I avoided for years. I actually was pleased with my image and felt really good about the progress. I was beaming. Sales person probably thought I was nuts. I can really see the changes now. Very exciting stuff.

I never pushed or nagged. I just tried to lead by example. I told him that I did not want him to ever have WLS.
