Back is getting worse

As I posted earlier, I "tweaked" my lower back last week. This week I went to Nashville and it got a little worse. The hotel beds, long rides and lifting the luggage out of the trunk ....seems to have mad it worse. I may have to take some drugs tomorrow to make it better. I have medicine some left over from my last lower back doctor visit. I have a muscle relaxer and anti-inflammatory pills that I could take. I am going to take it easy for a while and see how it does. This is my first injury in a long time. The last time I was hurt, I "tweaked" my calf muscle doing my leg work out. I always get hurt doing the legs. I think I should skip the leg work outs ...however,The legs are the biggest muscles in your body. I can't skip them...or could I?

lol... no skipping legs Take a break for a while though. Sounds like you need some recovery time. Back issues stink. I injured mine doing dead lifts. Had a CT and foung out I messed up my L4-L5. Took a long time to recover but no back pain recentlly. Hope you feel better soon. Do you have to travel again right away? Might be worth it to drag an air mattress with you in case you get a crappy bed again. The aero beds are pretty decent these days.

Yes, I will be traveling later this week. I will just get out and stretch during the trip. It is just going to take some time to get better.

I agree with you. alcohol does seem to really relax the muscles in the back. I hope to be better soon.
