relaxing summer

Hello everyone, I have not worked out the last several weeks. I actually don't feel too guilty ( right after WLS surgery, the guilt of missing would really bother me). I think the body needs a few weeks off... every now and then. I am going to really hit it hard the next few months. Last week I was in upper Michigan. This week I was in North Carolina.. I am starting back at it today (Cardio and Yoga) Tomorrow starts the weight training program. I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer.

Hey John, I listen to my body, and sometimes I do miss a few days. You are much farther in your journey than I, I can see a day when I may take some time off to recharge or just relax; good for you.

Mikee, Summer is sooo much better on the this side. I remember how hot and sweaty I was before WLS. I could never cool down. Now I get chilled if the AC is too low

I hear you, my golf buddies bust my chops now because I wear long pants in the morning if it is under 60 degrees, before I would wear shorts in the winter.

Me too!! Great summer here as well even with having the WLS just 4 months ago. I'm really enjoying the changes in my body and my whole relationship with food in general. I can do better with the exercise. I have my good weeks and bad weeks. This week happens to be a good week =) Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks!

Thanks Kristie, I really needed my Yoga last night. With all the driving that I have been doing, my lower back was staring to act up. Yoga really helps keep that lower back in shape.
