lol.. mega legs. Nice Job guys. My hamstrings are a bit sore this morning. Did full body plus 20 min cardio on Thursday and then did spin cycle on Friday. Today I am just going to walk and **maybe** brave the pool at my apartment complex. It will take some serious guts to put on a swim suit in front of strangers!!! I'm still not sure I am going to do it but with the temp getting to 100 today I'd be nuts not to try. I really want to swim again. Man does exercise make a huge difference with my weight loss right now. Just a few consistent days of it and I see a bigger drop. I'm down 35lbs and just over 9 weeks out. Starting to build a little muscle again and things are getting more tight. I can see a difference in my tummy especially with clothes on. My clothes are looking much better on me. I don't have to stretch out my T-shirts to fit over my belly and tush!!!!! I'm wearing a size 18-20ish/XL in most stuff and much more fitted clothes instead of hiding in baggy things. People are starting to notice a little more which is always nice. Someone even said I don't slouch as much and am standing taller. The process is still all very dream like to me sometimes. It is hard to believe that I'm going to just keep losing weight. Usually at the 35 - 40lb weight loss with all my yo-yo diets is where the scale would start to climb back up again and then I would just give up until I found the motivation to find the next diet. No giving up now!! Full speed ahead!!! Yet somehow I still find it hard to believe that next year I might actually not be so scared to go out in public in that bathing suit. At times when I get frustrated with food (ie- stuck because I ate too fast and end up in pain) I close my eyes and still use that visualization of a very healthy me playing beach volleyball in a bikini with my husband just giggling and having a great time. I can almost smell the sea air and suntan lotion along with feeling the sand between my toes. Could that really be me someday? I think so!!

Yep it will! Just keep doin' what you're doing and you will be on the beach in no time. Go to that pool and enjoy yourself!! That way, as you keep losing, the people who see you regularly can see a big difference. Hey 35 pounds is already a big chunk. Just put 35# pounds of hamberger all together at the grocery store! Enjoy the summer. Don't let it slip by! I put my swim suit on loose skin and all. I have so much fun. I am not embarrassed anymore. And I can actually wear a two peice now and look semi decent. Now....just wait until I get my tt and boob job...LOOK OUT! Keep up the training, don't for get your rest days too! Today is my cardio alone day. I plan on laying out, swimming, doing my eliptical and whatever else I feel like doing. I announced to the kiddies last night (all of them including Meggies boyfriend) that I was OFF THE CLOCK TODAY! If they wanted to do something fine with me, they know the rules but this taxi is parked for the day! Have a great weekend....and s l o w down when you eat. I know, I know, I do it too sometimes. Old nurse habits die hard! Val

Stacy, great job! I am so proud of you!!!! Do you ever get cravings? how much are you able to eat? I am asking because you are the newest loser here! LOL I have never wanted to be a loser before in my life! Now I pray to be a loser! Legs must be the in thing. The hack squats killed my butt cheeks!!!! I am having a hard time squatting to pick up or do anything! Just think, some day we will be able to crack a walnut between those things! Hope that image isn't too disturbing to anyone. No offense intended! Mega Legs is wonder woman anywhere around???? There's gotta be one in every crowd!!!! Tammy

No cravings at all - psychological or physical. I have not been hungry since I had surgery. The only reason why I usually end up eating is because I know it is time to eat.
